Import error: ParallelIce.Motors

Hi all,

I am trying to use the module Ice Motors on my Raspberry Pi3, but I get this error message: /opt/jderobot/share/conf: Traceback (most recent call last): File "", line 16, in <module> from mBotGazebo import MBotGazebo File "./mBotGazebo/", line 3, in <module> from ParallelIce.Motors import Motors ImportError: No module named ParallelIce.Motors

Since JdeRobot is not fully installed, just a few needed components, it could be the reason. But if I go the Python library path, I find a similar library, called "". I have tried to change it in my import header, but it also raises similar errors.

Does anyone have any idea, please?

show me ls output in /opt/jderobot/libs/python2.7 directory:

ls /opt/jderobot/libs/python2.7

its looks that you don't have parallelIce

Thanks for your answer,

I can't show the output of my Raspberry Pi right now, but I'm sure there's no "parallelIce" folder as in my laptop, which output I show you: jderobot/ jderobotTypes/ qdarkstyle/ comm/ config/ RoboCompJointMotor/ easyiceconfig/ parallelIce/ visualStatespy/

I still thinking that the reason is JdeRobot is not fully installed, just a few needed components. That's why I have no "jderobot-parallelice" and "jderobot-parallelice-python" packages installed no Raspberry Pi. As I remember there were lots of problems during JdeRobot full-installation. So we decided to install just cameraserver and cameraview tools.

Could it be possible to install "jderobot-parallelice" packages separately?

you can download jderobot source code and copy JdeRobot/src/libs/parallelIce_py/parallelIce/ folder to /opt/jderobot/libs/python2.7/
